Privacy Policy โ Water Ejector
Last updated: 28 September 2026
Water Ejector ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") is a simple audio utility that plays generated sound frequencies and test tones for your phone's speakers. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you use the App and how it is used.
The short version: the App is free and supported by ads. We do not ask you for personal details or require an account, but the App uses Google AdMob, Google Analytics for Firebase, and Firebase Crashlytics, which collect certain device and usage data as described below.
Summary
- No account or sign-in is required, and we do not ask you for your name, email, or phone number.
- The App shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect your advertising ID and device data to serve and measure ads.
- The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand usage and diagnose crashes.
- The App does not record audio and does not request microphone permission.
- We do not sell your personal information.
Information collected
We do not directly ask you for personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number, and the App does not access your contacts, photos, media, files, messages, call logs, microphone, or camera.
However, the third-party services the App uses (Google AdMob and Firebase) automatically collect certain information from your device, which may include:
- Advertising identifier (such as the Android Advertising ID) and other device identifiers;
- Device information such as device model, operating system version, language, and country/region;
- Approximate (non-precise) location derived from your IP address;
- App usage and interaction data, such as sessions, features used, and ad interactions;
- Diagnostic and crash data, such as crash logs and performance information.
This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with its own privacy policy. We use it only to display ads, keep the App free, understand how the App is used, and fix problems.
How the App works on your device
- Audio playback and volume. To play water eject tones, dust sessions, and speaker test sounds โ including the Max Volume Test โ the App plays audio through your device's media channel and may adjust your media volume when you start a session. This audio processing happens entirely on your device.
- App preferences. Your settings (such as your selected frequency mode) are stored locally on your device. They are deleted when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
Advertising
The App is free and is supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, AdMob may use your advertising ID and the device data listed above, and may show either personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your settings and consent. In regions where required (such as the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland), the App displays a consent request before personalized ads are shown.
You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and opt out of ad personalization, in your device settings (Settings โ Google โ Ads on most Android devices). To learn how Google uses data from apps that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services. You can also review Google's Privacy Policy.
Analytics and crash reporting
The App uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the App is used (for example, which features are opened and how often) and Firebase Crashlytics to record crash and stability data so we can improve the App. These services collect the device, usage, and diagnostic data described above. They are provided by Google under its Firebase privacy and security terms and Google Privacy Policy.
Third-party services
The App relies on the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
- Google AdMob โ advertising โ Google Privacy Policy;
- Google Analytics for Firebase โ usage analytics โ Firebase Privacy;
- Firebase Crashlytics โ crash reporting โ Firebase Privacy.
Note: the App is distributed through Google Play. Google may also process standard information related to app downloads and updates under Google's own privacy policy.
Data retention and security
We do not operate our own servers and do not store your personal information ourselves. Any data collected by Google AdMob and Firebase is retained and secured by Google according to its policies and retention periods. Your app preferences exist only on your own device and are removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App.
Children's privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Because the App shows ads, we take steps to request non-personalized ads where appropriate. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address it.
Your privacy rights (GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of personal data about you, to object to certain processing, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Much of the data described in this policy is collected and controlled by Google; you can exercise many choices directly through your device's Google Ads settings and through the consent prompt shown in the App. For any request you would like us to help with, contact us at the email below and we will respond.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example if a future version of the App adds new features. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
